A repeat of one of my very favorite patterns from Favorite Things.
Pattern: Little Sleep Well
Size: 5/6
Fabric: From the fabric stash cabinet. Tops are cotton, bottoms are linen blends.
Modifications: Added length to sleeves. Added contrast cuff to one set of pants just for fun. Other than that I just follow the pattern.
She chose the buttons... the only 3 purple ones she could find in the button box...
Pressed and top-stitched...
The second set...
Edge finishing, facings, and top-stitching... all nice and neat... everything comes together perfectly.
I always add a little "tag" to the back of pants so Tater knows the back from the front...
I'd like to make a few more sets for the other kids and even the adult version for Mac Daddy and myself. We'll see what our holiday "vacation" brings.
Adorable. I really like the fabric combinations. I need to get on the ball and sew up some jammies for my little girl too. I think she's getting impatient with the fact that the last few things under the needle have been for her brother. Every time I turn around they are growing again! And nice to see you knit too, I'll have to take a look at your knitting. (came over from SMS)
