Tater's skirt is finished and turned out great. I looooveee this fabric... Heidi Grace "Daydream Believer". I got it at JoAnns.
I'll admit that I've not always been a big fan of JoAnn Fabrics but it seems like the selection at the one in my area is improving. Probably partly due to the resurgence of major league craft and sewing enthusiasm.
I'm really thinking about using a 50% off coupon on an entire bolt of this stuff to make a set of tabbed drapes for the living room. Super colorful but still sort of light.
There's a single layered version and this double layer version. The pleats at the top are ridiculously adorable and Tater loves the little pocket.
The fit is a no-brainer because the back of the waist band is elastic. My tall and skinny kids + elastic = big win.
I'm heading to the kitchen to get to work on those peanut butter eggs. The recipe is actually written to make a ton and is measured in pounds of ingredients. I always break it down to make a not-quite-as-huge batch so I'll write up my conversions and post the recipe later this afternoon.

I love the skirt! I agree with you about Jo Anns too. They seem to be improving in the cotton fabrics department. However, they seem to be slipping in others. I have found a few nice fabrics there lately for quilting and kids clothes.

Cute skirt! I love that skirt but I have yet to make one. I always get stuck trying to come up with the fabric combination.
