oops ignore me!

What booth will you be in at Md S&W? I want to look for you and your patterns.

Why not get one of those "men" t-shirts that fit in the chest, and then curve the side seams in a bit. If you can make a smocked dress, you should be able to alter the shirt. Or maybe put a dart or two in to give it shape. I agree with you, I hate baggy boy clothes! We girls have curves meant to be shown off!!

Can I have a smocked nightie too?? Gosh I haven't had one of those since my Gramma made me one (you can guess how old i was!).

Keep up the good work! You are on FIRE! On a ROLL! On... ok i ran out of idioms... but you get the idea. Way to go! :)

I think I ramble all the time. And I like to read the facets of a life that makes up the person we are reading about!

Well, if your at MDS&W - keep your eye out for your sweater on a browsing shopper....

What happened to all those idyllic ideas we had of raising families and knitting and baking for them and generally being content? Oh yeah, I remember. We HAD that family and now we're so caught up with managing them that we don't have a lot of time for the idyllic parts. It's hard to remember to enjoy those rare moments when they come..........but you seem to be doing a pretty decent job of it.
:-)

YOu're going to be a MDS&W? I'm still on the fence about going. You'll have to let us know what booth you're working.

My confession is I'd rather be sewing right now than knitting. And planting above and beyond both.

Which mags are you going to be in? Can't wait to see! It couldn't happen to a more deserving person.

Hmm, here's my confession/rant in no particular order...

Laundry, feed the baby, spring clean the house, change the baby, get orders out in the mail, feed the baby, take drugs to kick the springtime allergies or I will be flat on my back, change the baby, take kids to school, feed the baby, pick kids up from school, change the baby, knit, feed the baby, finish up prezzies for DD's birthday, change the baby, re-organize the stash and set up work area, feed the baby, pay the bills and balance the checkbook, change the baby, go buy flowers to plant in the beds, feed the baby, write, change the baby, start blogging again, feed the baby, spend time with the hubby, change the baby, spend time with the older kids, feed the baby and finally, find some time to sleep somewhere in all that chaos!

Yes, I do feel a bit better now, thank you. :)

Well, I just think it's great that the things that are keeping you swamped are all good things. These are good problems to have. Enjoy it and we'll be here when you have the time.

Hey, which booth will you be in at MDS&W? I want to stop by and say hi!

I can only offer the trite saying "don't sweat the small stuff". You can only do so much even though you seem capable of much more than most people.
The stress of homeschooling, housekeeping, running a business and writing articles combined with the allure of spring would be enough to make anyone run off into the woods! It may be hard to see, but it seems that you are doing a fantastic job at all.

I really could post an entire rant. My life is being sucked in to a pit of dental woes. When I finish with this current batch of work in my mouth, I know it won't be the last the dentist will see of me. My 2nd child has had 9 fillings. These started when he was 3. We brush and floss our kids, the eat very little candy, and still...the sugar bugs eat their teeth. Then my soon to be 3 will soon need a little box on the roof of her mouth. She has a cross bite and terribly small upper pallet. This will require work. My dentist suggested that I get a job now, since all 3 of my little ones will need braces at the same time. SO, what do I do...KNIT. It is so calming. And at least my kiddos will be well warm.

I think is great you're making your patterns available wholesale. I know I'll being giving the owner of my LYS a little shove in that direction. ;-) Magazine publications, too? You're on fire! Hard to feel it though, I bet, when you've got so many balls in the air. I'm tired just reading your to do list. Lol!
