about the time I came to terms with the fact that the real estate market sucks right now and we would be waiting a while to get our house sold... our house sold.
Also... about the time I came to terms with the fact that we couldn’t get the house we really wanted... we got the house we really wanted.
Now let me tell ya, all of this happened within about a 48 hour span which was crazy enough but I was also battling bronchitis and on some pretty nasty cold medicine so I wasn’t really sure if I was high on the medicine or just delirious from the fever.
I’m feeling much better on so many levels but still so afraid of all the things that can go wrong when you’re buying and selling houses. I almost couldn’t make this post... I’m not generally superstitious but I do feel a bit like I’m counting my chickens before they’re hatched.
But people buy and sell houses all the time and its really no big deal, right?
So anyway...
I know you’d rather get some good knitting pics or news of new things going on but today I’m just leaving you with a picture of Tater. We visited our new house over the weekend (we officially move in 4 weeks) and she’s already collecting daisies and making friends with caterpillars. With a couple of acres to explore she’ll be content for a while (and so will I).

Hey, I've missed seeing you and reading your blog. Congratulations on the house sell. Hope all goes well in the next few weeks.

Congrats! I think the buying & selling fairies have been hanging out together and doing their visiting together - my parents also sold and bought w/in a couple of days. Can't wait to see pics of your new place.

Yay!!
Congratulations. I'm so happy for all of you. That is wonderful.
Hope you are feeling better - that's miserable.
Look at how much Tater loves being out in her new yard. That is wonderful.

Felicitations!
Well done you! Mayhap the fog of medication was just the mystic veil needed to open up all the cosmic byways of home sellership/purchasership.
Mayhap not, but congratulations all the same.

Congratulations on both selling and buying! You feel like you're holding your breath until it's all said and done but it's all worth it in the end.
