but it is Friday, nonetheless.
Here’s the run down of the past 7 days here at Resort de la Slayer...
- A successful school week including co-op and several out of the house classes.
- The boys had a bowling tournament (we did not advance to the next round but had fun anyway).
- Tater has officially graduated to panties! For the first time in almost 14 years I am not changing diapers! I cannot put into words how thrilled I am.
- Newton seems to have adjusted well to his new home. I must admit I am a little surprised at just how much food such a small creature eats. I’m also quite surprised at how fascinated I have become with watching him eat. His humble abode is positioned on my desk (its one of those big corner units...I made Mac Daddy move the scanner and the printer so I could put the tortoise tank on the desk...priorities don’t ya know). The problem with him being on my desk is that I now run the risk of sitting here for a very long time doing nothing but watching the tortoise. Its quite hypnotic but does nothing at all for my motivation...or lack thereof...to get any work done.

Knitting...
The adult Luna Trail is coming along. I’m almost to the armholes. Hopefully this weekend will be uneventful and I’ll get a good bit done.

Cables galore - what a beautiful sweater.

yay! Congrats Tater - that is a huge milestone.
Your tortoise is so adorable. I just cannot get over how stunningly beautiful his shell is. Incredible.

Congratulations on the diaper graduation! It's a big moment! Over 14 years, I literally had one month that I didn't need diapers.
Your adult Luna Trail is looking so yummy. Love cables, I do!

Oh, the tortoise would be so fun to watch for me, too. In fact, the kids have been wanting a turtle... hmmmm...
I'm waiting very (im)patiently for the Luna Trail adult version pattern! ;)!!
